Shows: More Amazing Race
Thanks again to Peter for pointing out that the rows in The Amazing Race Leaderboard represented the place in the race and not a particular team. In retrospect, it's obvious, as surely the teams hadn't been in those spots the whole season. But now we have another puzzle.
The twist is that it wasn't in episode 6, but apparently will be in episode 7 where two teams leave the race. The reason this is so much of a puzzle is because the most likely team to leave the race last week, Marshall and Lance, actually left the race last week. So it seems as if it will be something of a surprise this week, as only four teams are on the chart to race in episode 8 - but there are currently six teams left.
Maybe one of the teams gets arrested for killing one of the other teams or something. If nothing else, it should be an interesting episode...

I'm re-examining the leaderboard while watching tonight's episode... looking at episode 6, it looks like two teams should have been eliminated. I don't know if they've changed the layout of the leaderboard since I last checked. It just seems to be messed up. I guess we'll see!

Hmm, looks like that two team gap is just getting perpetuated for some reason. Who knows.
In any case, I was touched to see Phil nearly break down last night at the elimination! You have to hand it to those two, they really did a great job despite the odds.
Our favorites now are Chip/Kim and Linda/Karen.

Strange indeed. It was interesting to see Phil's reaction. We thought perhaps he was just joyous that he wouldn't have to undergo The Hug anymore. :)
I think Charla and Mirna did very well. The thing I found odd is that they seemed to make their own problems - and Mirna was doing it for the most part. Charla seemed to be generally very well adjusted. Very rarely was anyone else saying anything bad about them. But they almost constantly mentioned the finger pointing and the like. Ah well. Could just be the editing, too. We weren't terribly upset to see them go.
I picked Colin and Christie early on (after the second episode, I think, when we realized we had seen nothing from them), and my wife picked Chip and Kim about the same time. I still like Colin and Christie but they just stress too much. Chip and Kim seem to be having a ball. I'd like to see them win.
