Shows: House Detective
I admit it. We watch all sorts of reality shows. But lately we've been watching a lot of home repair shows. Mostly because there are a few remodeling projects we have left to do. Yet we still have time to watch the House Detective. Mostly because we live in an older home (it was built in 1964). We've done a lot of work to the house, but watching the show helps us know not only what to look out for, but what to expect to pay once we find it. Unfortunately, it also shows us what we may have (over)paid for it when we had it done.
In reality (sorry for a bad pun), we tend to either fast-forward through most episodes these days or delete them straight off the Tivo after reading the summary, simply deciding if they apply or not right then. So they don't take up a lot of our viewing time. But we'll still catch a good episode now and again, and find that most of them are rather entertaining to watch - or at least skim.
