Little Billy Mumy (later of Lost in Space and even later of Babylon 5) is a boy of 6 who has pinched off his rural Ohio town and the folk who remain and they exist solely to serve him. Life goes on and on, with everyone simply telling him over and over that it’s good what he does – and being afraid of what he’ll do if they don’t.
One unfortunate man who tells the truth one day (who I think also happens to be they boy’s grandfather) ends up as a jack-in-the-box in the cornfield. Another unfortunate is the three-headed rodent that the boy creates, then kills, for fun. Definitely odd, very disturbing, but not really interesting. I’d pass if it came on again.
