The Sopranos Recap: Mayham

Working our way from the end, Tony is back. Groggy and recovering, but he is back. Thankfully. Two episodes of everyone wandering around aimlessly is plenty, thankyouverymuch. Though I have to say the beginning of this episode was interesting where everyone seemed to be wanting to start dividing up the kingdom. Too bad that it didn't even last an hour, with Tony coming around at the end and the underlings scrambling to get back to their place in line.

When both Paulie and Vito got back in the elevator with downcast eyes, and Carmella gave them the puzzled look, it seems obvious that their displeasure is known - so the curiosity now is what will happen next.

I suspect not a whole lot will happen, like with the dream sequences that Tony was having. The series has turned into a soap opera more than anything. The storytelling aspect there seems to have been completely wasted - though I admit it could be utilized later in some fashion. It'd be a shame to not see the show go out on a high note.
