This week started off with BJ and Tyler showing a whopping hour-and-a-half lead over second place team Eric and Jeremy. It's not uncommon for that sort of distance between first and last - or even between first and somewhere in the middle. But first and second is usually a lot closer than that.

That doesn't mean it lasts - as is to be expected, Eric and Jeremy closed the gap since the first stop on this leg didn't open until 8:30am. Still, it meant that BJ and Tyler were able to relax (albeit in their car) for an extra couple of hours while the other racers scrambled to catch up to them.

This episode focuses on Hurley, who is perhaps one of the more interesting characters on the island. Dave is his "imaginary" friend from the hospital, who just so happens has come to visit him on the island. The encounter reminds me of Total Recall, since Dave is trying to talk Hurley out of a dream, and it's like he (Hurley) is manufacturing the entire island.
