Except at the top, there was a lot of action this week. Front-runners Eric and Jeremy stayed out front, as they took the first Fast Forward and easily ended where they began - in first place. Meanwhile BJ and Tyler seemed as if they were doing well, but took a horrible two-hour detour in the wrong direction and avoided elimination primarily because Lake and Michelle seemed to be unable to agree on which way they should go (Lake and Michelle thus ended up being eliminated instead).

This left BJ and Tyler in the race, but at the bottom of the pack, seemingly well behind everyone else, while Joseph and Monica sneaked past Ray and Yolanda and Fran and Barry managed fourth place without much drama.

The main point was that a handful of teams got off at the wrong train stop, so they were assessed a 15 minute penalty for taking the bus to the train stop instead of the train, as instructed. The only affect this had on the outcome was to drop Ray and Yolanda to third, but it could have been much worse for some. Hopefully everyone will read their clues much more closely next time.

We're left wondering what has happened to the non-elimination rounds? This has to be the latest that they've waited before having one.
