Levitation Machine. Back in the day, you used to be able to buy almost anything in the back of a magazine (okay, a comic book). One of those things is a five-dollar levitation machine made out of vaccuum cleaner parts. Sounds like it’s time for a competition, and Adam and Jamie square off to build their own machines. The best part is when Adam gets his lip caught in his vaccuum motor. In the end, neither works particularly well, but they do get off the ground. Sort of. They just don’t move until they get pushed. It’s not pretty. Plausible.
Chinese Invasion Alarm. Now here’s a myth I can get my arms around. Everyone knows that if you are in an elevator, dropping to your doom, you can jump just before impact, and you will be saved, right? Right? Uh, wrong. At least, that’s what Buster says, and the boys used a building that was just about to be demolished, and just about destroyed Buster in the process to find out. Unfortunately, this is one that they couldn’t reset too easily, so you’ll just have to take their word for it. Busted.
