The Sopranos Recap: The Ride
After Christopher makes a surprise announcement that he's gotten married, he and Tony take a ride through the country and stick up a couple of motorcycle thugs who are themselves hijacking a liquor store. It's one of the lighter moments, watching Tony and Chris load cases of wine in the back of Tony's SUV as these bikers haul an ATM from the back of the store. That was fun.
And that was about it. The whole thing about the festival was okay, I guess, but it was a bit pathetic, what with Janice whining about her kid, and Bobby getting all uptight and Paulie watching Lawrence Welk with his Ma (who isn't his Ma).
If someone told me in the first season of this show that it would have Paulie watching Lawrence Welk by now, who would have thought it? That's just sad.
