Mind Control. The title myth has the build team scrambling to find a method (any method) for exerting some form of influence on someone else’s mind. First, they buy a psionic helmet, which is essentially an expensive bike helmet, dowel wrapped in leather and a gem, controlled by a couple of volume knobs. It didn’t seem to work at all. Busted.
So then they stepped it up a notch, creating a puffed-air machine, a rotating magnet dohickey and even a subliminal audio setup, none of which seemed to do anything either. The most promising seemed to be the magnet. But that could have been that it just interfered with with the EEG. Busted, busted, busted.
Painting with Explosives. If you’ve ever watched Mr. Bean, then you may have seen the episode where he paints a room flawlessy by dropping a stick of dynamite into a can of paint. Adam and Jamie want to see if this is possible. The answer, alas, is “no”, despite numerous attempts. But it sure is fun to watch, and if you’re looking to get into abstract art, this is a must-see episode. Busted.
