The Twilight Zone Recap: The Self-Improvement of Salvadore Ross
Have you ever wanted to trade with another person? Perhaps swap your ills for theirs, or maybe your health for their riches (or vice versa). Salvadore Ross has this ability, so when his girlfriend says she no longer wants to see them, he embarks on a series of trades to make himself a better person. This part of the story is a bit slow, and the only part of the episode that detracts somewhat, as it is a little confusing.
But the end brings it home, as suddenly Ross is happy in the life of his dreams. Unfortunately his girlfriend's father does not approve of her sudden taking up with Ross once again, and he has decided to let him know in the form of a bullet. Ross cannot understand, until it becomes clear - her father sold his compassion to Ross the day before, and now he has none. Excellent!
