The Twilight Zone Recap: Black Leather Jackets
It's not every day you see three young guys moving into the house next door, especially when they wear leather jackets and ride motorcycles. For young Ellen, it's very excting, and especially when one of the boys notices here and offers her a ride to the library because she missed the bus.
He's just so odd. He talks like a beatnik, but sometimes he doesn't understand the simplest sayings like "lucky stars". As it turns out, he comes from those lucky stars. Scott and his two brothers are part of an invasion force getting ready to poison the water supply so they can take over the Earth for themselves. But no one wants to listen to a young girl in love, so things seem like they will proceed as planned. Odd ending, really, it's just left open-ended, which is a bit unusual. The assumption is that everyone will die because no one does listen to her, which is okay, it just seems unresolved.
Keep an eye out for Denver Pyle (Uncle Jesse from the original Dukes of Hazzard) in a small role. He plays Ellen's dad Stu (listen for the voice, it's really him!).
