The Sopranos Recap: Kaisha
We are gradually making it to the end of the last season. But it's getting ever more painful, and now we have to wait another seven months for the last eight episodes. I really thought that this episode would be more interesting. I was wrong.
At least there was a little action. Phil had a heart attack. Tony told him to have grandkids. Chris hooked up with Juliana, the real estate lady, and started using again.
Other than ordering a four-cheese pizza and showing up at a lovely Christmas tree image at the end of the show, we hardly saw Chris' wife. Does she not notice that he's out running around using drugs with some woman?
And what about when Chris and Juliana left the diner? Was that not the perfect moment for the two of them to climb in a car and have it explode? Phil had just been talking about taking out someone close to Tony. Tony had just been warned about someone close to him being killed. Then a minute later we see Chris and his wife at a Christmas party. Is this The Sopranos or It's a Wonderful Life?
