Ghost Whisperer Recap: The Crossing
A bit disturbing, mostly because the ghost in this episode was a young boy. It turns out that he was in a car as it was hit by a train, and he's been hanging out at the railroad crossing ever since, waiting diligently for his mom to pick him up ever since. Good for him, listening and all that. It's just a bit spooky.
His mom and dad, meanwhile, are in a court battle with the man who sold them the car, as he told them that it was good as new. Unfortunately the car that was ready to go had a tendency to break down, and it did so right on the aforementioned crossing. When the mom went to get out, her son jumped back in to get his spider toy and that's when the train came.
The other bit of news is that Jim's mom has come to town for some quality time with Jim and Melinda. So naturally she thinks it's a bit odd that Melinda is off and running all the time. She thinks it is something different though - she thinks Melinda is pregnant! In the end, naturally, it all works out and the boy crosses over just as he should, and Jim's mom gets a bit of the story, but not quite everything.
