This may just be one of the best episodes of the series. When an older member of an exclusive club has decided that he can't take any more of a younger member's bragging, he wagers that the younger member cannot keep his mouth shut for one year. In return, the younger member, should he win, will get the sum of 500 thousand dollars. To make sure that things are on the up-and-up, the younger member agrees to live in a glass-enclosed cage in an unused room in the club basement.

He is to be extended every courtesy, but he is not allowed to speak during the entire year. As the year progresses, the older member fears that he just may lose his bet and he frantically tries to get the younger member to break his word. Unfortunately it is not to be, and the older man must face his peers and tell them that he is actually a fraud, that he has no money at all, and he will now leave them in shame.

It as at this time that the younger member reveals that he too has a secret. Fearing that he would not be able to keep silent for a full year, on the eve of the bet, he had his vocal chords severed, and he is now simply unable to speak. Priceless!
