As an acquaintance of Melinda’s gets married, she is haunted by the former wife of the husband-to-be. It appears she died on the way the reception. As the episode unfolds, it seems that she had hidden the fact that she had a miscarriage just before the wedding from her new husband, and he wasn’t too happy about it. When their car crashed, it killed her and the best man, and now she’s not too happy that he’s marrying someone else.
In the end, of course, Melinda makes everything work out, and she and the best man find out that they have feelings for one another, so it all ends well.
