A young man (Jon Cryer of Two and a Half Men) in college just can't get a date. He has a book, but none of the women want to give him the time of day. Some just want to kill him. Literally. All except the daughter of the house mother, and he doesn't think dating her would be a good idea.

One day in chemistry class, he spills some liquids on a magazine and suddenly a dog appears out of nowhere. He then realizes that the liquids he spilled made the dog come alive out of the pages of the magazine, so he takes them back to his room and frantically tries to bring women to life from the pictures he has in his room. Unfortunately he can't seem to get the formula just right. He uses too much, then too little.

When he does get it right, he's interrupted by the pizza guy, who blocks him in the closet and steals the woman - but he doesn't realize it and ends up kissing the daughter he was trying to avoid. It all works out in the end. Except the remaining drops of liquid start dripping on and old Fangoria magazine, which is where the episode ends.
