Melinda gets a new neighbor in the house across the street, but it turns out the house isn’t haunted – the new neighbor is haunted (or at least, he believes he is). And who better than Melinda to be able to help in such a situation. The ghost in question turns out to be the grandfather of a girl that the man was in love with, and he believes that the man killed her. Of course, that’s only part of the story, and the girl was trying to get away from a bad situaton, so Melinda steps in to help out, only to risk her own skin when the grandfather doesn’t like her meddling.
In the end, things work out and the girl surfaces in time to speak with her grandfather and help him cross over, as well as be with the man who nearly sacrificed it all to help her get out of a bad situation, and things in Melinda’s life return to normal – or at least a normal as they will ever get.
