Who Wants to Be a Superhero? Recap: Issue 6
Fat Momma and Feedback both go to stunt school, where they learn to fight and fly (or at least leap), and they even make a mini-movie that we see later in the episode. Then each of them sit down with Stan for a heart-to-heart talk about themselves, not just their characters. In my opinion, Nell's (Fat Momma's) talk went a little better than Matthew's (Feedback's) talk here, but that's just because Matthew still seemed to be a bit of a stalker.
Then everyone moved to Universal Studios, where the winner was announced. There was no justification, and I haven't read any rules, but I have to imagine that the winner will be used in more than a single issue (ideally), so that's why they picked the one they did.
The winner was Feedback, who seems like a more marketable character. I just can't see too many comics based on Fat Momma, and I'm imagining that Stan felt the same - but I could be wrong. Then again, maybe he was just worried what would happen if he didn't let Feedback win, and was worried for his safety. Who knows? Regardless, it was an entertaining series, and nice and short. I'm not sure if it would have been as good if it had gone on as long as a regular series (24 episodes) or even some mid-season replacements (13 episodes).
