According to Jim Recap: The Hunters
As Thanksgiving nears, Jim and Andy decide to hunt their turkey. So they head across the state line (to Indiana) to a place that lets you shoot your own. Meanwhile, Cheryl and Dana have a bet going that one of them will get shot in the butt with an arrow.
The guide tells them about Angry Pete, a 40-pound Tom that just won't be shot, and so naturaly Andy and Jim head off in the opposite direction of the guide to see if they can catch him. Unfortunately they get bored before long and decide to take a break after shooting a few arrows at a bunny rabbit.
Jim sits his crossbow down on the ground while he uses the bushes and wouldn't you know it - out comes Angry Pete, and he doesn't look happy. The first thing he does is peck at Jim's crossbow and there goes the arrow - right into Jim's butt. Looks like Dana is the winner of the bet.
Not wanting to be shown that he can't hunt, Jim has Andy pick up a turkey at the store, but he buys a frozen one, which gives them away. So as not to let a turkey get the best of him, Jim and Andy return to try and get Pete, but they can't even find him, so they head back home - and run over him with the truck. At least they got him.
