According to Jim Recap: The Money

Andy wants to buy a condo, but there's just one problem - he doesn't have the down payment. Naturally, he doesn't want to ask Dana, because then he'll have to pay her back somehow - probably well beyond whatever he borrows. So instead, he asks Cheryl, because she's just a lot nicer than Jim. Thankfully, she says yes. But unfortunately, she has to clear it with Jim because Andy needs a thousand dollars.

Cheryl says that he can have it out of their Italy fund. They had been planning to go so that Jim can run with the bulls (Jim not knowing that the bulls runs in Spain), but since there's only a little over a thousand in there, it will be a while, so that will be fine.

Jim isn't quite so giving - mainly because he's already spent the money. So he tells Andy that he probably doesn't want to buy a condo, and when Cheryl finds out, she decides to go down and get the money herself, only to find out that there is just $6 left, which doesn't make her very happy, so she confronts Jim, who turns it around on her because she was going to take out the money without asking him, just like he already did. What a relationship!

When it all comes to a head is when Jim tells Cheryl that he's the breadwinner, and it was his bread, so he can do what he wants. That's when she decides to have a garage sale with all the stuff she owned prior to them getting married - including the chair that Jim likes to sit in. At that point, he's ready to discuss things, and it all works out.

Andy, meanwhile, has to get the money from Dana. And give her a ride to the airport early the next morning.

There's also a very brief appearance of the family dog, Gary Sinise, under the coffee table in the living room. It also appears to be the same dog originally seen in The Cat Came Back, as opposed to the one seen in Bad Word, aired just two weeks prior.
