The Class Recap: The Class Learns About Hurricanes
As Hurricane Fernanda bears down on New Jersey, Holly is dispatched to the shore to report on it. This provides endless entertainment for Kyle and Aaron as the storm nears and Holly has more and more trouble speaking - but it's even better when she actually gets hit by a runaway stop sign, and luckily they have a replay button where they can watch it again and again. I can't say that I blame them.
Meanwhile, Kat, who isn't exactly one who listens to broadcasts of information, ends up soaking wet at Ethan's place - so she simply changes out of her clothes. Luckily, Ethan is packing up all of Joanne's things for her to pick up. Unfortunately for him, he's folding them neatly, which leads to more ribbing from Kat.
No one in their right mind packs things neatly for an ex, unless they want to get back together with them, which of course he does. Kat tries to convince Ethan to give her a $700 leather jacket, which he won't - until Joanne brings his stuff crammed into a trash bag, at which point he gleefully gives it to Kat and shuts the door on Joanne, presumably forever.
Richie gets to the hospital - St. Ann's hospital, which was mistakenly referred to as "Stan's" by Lina, but she's probably still drugged, so that's okay. There he had his stomach pumped, after which he was able to take Lina home, and he luckily did not kill her on the way, though she did get caught in the hurricane winds and suffered a bump coming into the apartment.
Finally, Nicole inexplicably asked Duncan to come by and check out the house, which is supposedly in bad shape. But she didn't want him to take the job when Yonk offered it to him, so Duncan gave him a high quote - $100,000. Thinking he would bring things to the front, Yonk said he knows how contractors work, and asked how much it would really cost, and Duncan said he couldn't do the work for a penny less than $200,000, at which point Yonk told him he was hired. Now Nicole can't get him to leave. So that should be interesting.
