The Class Recap: The Class Blows the Whistle
Now that Duncan has started work on the house shared by Nicole and Yonk, he's found another problem - a cracked foundation. Though Yonk gives Duncan a hard time about trying to "stick it to him", he asks if Duncan knows anything about video games, and this makes things even more difficult for Nicole, as it seems that Duncan and Yonk are becoming good friends, playing football around the house, and even going to an Eagles game.
Meanwhile, Kat and Ethan seem to be hanging out a bit, and when Ethan prompts her about setting him up, she initially refuses - and then she tries to do just that with her large-eared, easy friend. But it turns out that the large ears are just too big to make things work. I'm sure that the two of them will get together, but obviously we're going to have to wait a bit for that to happen.
Holly, who is already obsessed with getting her daughter Oprah in Kyle's school, really kicks it up a notch. She brings Perry by with competing outfits, then she starts calling regularly, and when Kyle and Aaron stop answering the phone, she calls Kyle's cell phone. When he doesn't answer, she calls Aaron's cell phone. Finally, Kyle pulls Oprah's application and lies to Holly to get her to stop.
Finally Richie and Lina go out on a real date, and no one gets (physically) hurt. Unfortunately they meet up with a busboy who is has a bit of a problem with Richie, and Richie has to tell Lina why he is so depressed. It turns out that he blew the whistle on his former company, who was developing a drug that had an unfrotunate side effect: Death. It effectively brought down the entire company. Chances are this guy used to work there.
Richie also heads home and gets in bed with another woman, who appears to be Sara Gilbert. No word on what this relationship is, but it's safe to assume he wants out of it or he wouldn't be dating Lina.
Interesting tidbit: The busboy is played by Ben Falcone, who had a recurring role as Howard on the sitcom Joey. Andrea Anders, who plays Nicole, was also on the show.
