According to Jim Recap: The Mustache

As Andy works out in the office to impress the delivery girl (with pink barbells he stole from Dana), Jim tries to suck in his gut. When Alicia (Jennifer Alden) shows up with the day’s packages, she remarks how good Jim looks in the blue shirt he’s wearing, and suggests that he grows a mustache – which of course he does. Unfortunately, Cheryl doesn’t think he should have a mustache, and to make matters worse, Jim doesn’t listen to her advice, saying that the ‘stache is his way of expressing himself.

Cheryl and Dana plot to figure out what she can do to express herself, which in real terms means what she can do to offend Jim, and then they can “trade” to get him to get rid of the mustache. She decides to dye her hair. It doesn’t work out as she hoped, however, as he loves that she’s now a brunette. It’s like he can be with another woman while she’s there.

So one day, Cheryl and Dana head to the office, but Jim and Andy aren’t there, so they get ready to leave and Alicia shows up and tells them all about her friend from the Rhode Island School of Design who has all these great ideas, and what she’s been telling the guys, and suddenly the light bulb goes on. A plan is formed. Cheryl and Dana get Alicia to give the guys some more great suggestions.

She has Andy go to a spray-on tan place, while Jim, who has “great calves”, should wear a kilt. For whatever reason, Andy gets a spray-on tan that looks orange, so he looks like a great big pumpkin, and Jim wears a dress to work. He actually looks vaguely Scottish with his mustache, but as one of the workers comes in and snaps some pictures on his camera phone, they realize that they’ve been had, and finally he makes peace with Cheryl. Andy, alas, is still a great big pumpkin.
