According to Jim Recap: The Pizza Boy

A fairly typical event - a pizza delivery - turns into something much more serious when Jim and Cheryl learn from Ronnie (the pizza boy, also Robert Belushi, son of Jim and Nephew of John) that the pizza place is in danger of closing because he and his father (Reni Santoni) can't decide on his future. Ronnie wants to be a stand-up comic and his father wants him to go to college.

While normally this is something that Jim would avoid like the plague, in this case, it affects the ability to get his favorite pizza, so he jumps squarely into the fray and tries to help sort things out. First, he heads down to the pizza parlor, where they don't know him, but they do know his address (412 Maple Street), and as soon as he starts placing his order, they lavish him with praise for single-handedly paying for the above-ground pool. Frankly, I would have though Jim could have paid for an in-ground pool.

Nonetheless, Jim does get Ronnie's dad to come down to the club and see his act, but unfortunately it isn't very good. The bits all revolve around pizza, and they just aren't very funny, so Ronnie's dad storms out, and Jim invites Ronnie to live with them. This continues for a few days until Jim steals the fiberglass statue of a pizza guy from the pizza parlor, which finally gets the attention of Ronnie's dad, and while everything may not have worked out, at least they are talking again.
