As Dana prepares for her wedding, she is a bit disappointed with the bachelorette party that Cheryl throws – knitting just wasn’t what she wanted to do at the party. So when 9:15 roles around, she is left a bit sad. Not to fear – Andy and Jim to the rescue!
They come home just in time to see that everyone is gone, no pillow fights, no jello wrestling and the planted video camera gets absolutely nothing good on it. So stepping up to the plate, they decide to give Dana a decent sendoff from single life. With that, they head out. Unfortunately, they do it with a bit too much style.
So much, in fact, that they lose Dana in the process. As they pull out their receipts to try and recall what happened, they figure out that she boarded a train to see Ryan at his conference to call off the wedding because Jim compared marriage to a prison.
Naturally, Jim, Cheryl and Andy take off to try and stop her before she makes a bit mistake. When they get there, they realize that Dana missed Ryan – he went home early because he missed her, and so the problem is solved. Of course, Jim is still in trouble, but that problem too is solved – Cheryl and Dana leave the extra ticket with him asleep on the couch and head back home.
This episode is one of the few that does not include the kids – not even in the opening montage.
