Ghost Whisperer Recap: The Woman of His Dreams
Melinda is already worried about her mom going into surgery, so when she receives a vision of an operating room and plenty of blood, she takes off to be with her. But then Jim gets the very same vision once Melinda is gone, so it seems something else might be happening. It's even stranger when Jim's poker night has Egyptian scarabs running all around. That's just not the sort of thing you see every night.
So after talking with Professor Payne about what he's seeing and discussing his odd dreams with Melinda, Jim figures out that it has something to do with the death of a woman involved in modeling, and when he goes to the funeral of the woman, he finds out that she was actually someone he went to high school with, and she was anything but a model when he knew her.
Apparently he meant a little more to her, however, and it turns out that Jim's simple act of kindness one night at a dance has carried over into her death, because now she's come to him for help. When Melinda returns, they find out that she went into the hospital for plastic surgery at the urging of her agent, and things didn't go so well.
The worst part of it is that she doesn't want her little sister following the same path, and that's exactly what's happening, so she's come to Jim to get the truth out about what happened to her. Once Melinda comes in and they get everyone to listen, it all works out in the end.
