When Cheryl goes to the mall and nearly gets mugged, she does what any sane woman should probably not do - she runs the guy down and tackles him to get her purse back. If you lived with Jim, you probably would do the same. But when she and Dana get back in the car, they have to sit a while before either one of them can get it under control enough to drive home, and she doesn't even want to tell Jim.
Melinda is already worried about her mom going into surgery, so when she receives a vision of an operating room and plenty of blood, she takes off to be with her. But then Jim gets the very same vision once Melinda is gone, so it seems something else might be happening. It's even stranger when Jim's poker night has Egyptian scarabs running all around. That's just not the sort of thing you see every night.
Apparently even a small college (or a small-sounding college, perhaps) can have well-known student athletes, and at a homecoming party, the three best known players on the team get into a fight and before you know it, one of them ends up dead. The only problem is that no one seems to really know what happened - or at least, no one is talking about it. All that anyone can seem to say is that the dead one lost his starting spot and was mad enough to start the fight.
Now that Ryan and Dana are married, he is constantly making these little romantic gestures all the time that are making Jim look bad. The latest is to get Dana a bottle of champagne (that appears to be Dom Perignon) and 118 yellow roses (118 because that was the amount of the dinner tab on their first date). The only mistake he makes is to tell Jim that they are waiting at the house.

In The Tale of the Tape (Part 1), Jim believed that Cheryl had made him a mix tape, and they had shared many special moments in their lives together to the tunes on that tape. But after pulling the tape out of hiding in order to use it to get himself out of the doghouse, Jim needed to get it put on CD, since they no longer had a tape player.
In doing so, they boosted all the levels, and this exposed a hidden track that said "I love you Cheryl", which in turn exposed Cheryl's secret - she didn't make the tape - her ex-boyfriend Chad did. Jim just assumed it was for him. Cheryl destroyed the CD in the blender while making Jim a smoothie (no telling how that could have happened), hoping that Jim will never hear the new track.

Jim has found himself a new employer, one who he used to go to high school with, and unfortunately his new employer is also the guy in school that always had the best of everything, and never had any problem telling everyone else about it. Well now Jim can turn the tables because it seems that he has something that the other guy wants. It's too bad that what the other guy wants is Cheryl.
Jim has never understood the obsession that Cheryl has with helping those less fortunate than themselves, but when he and Andy are helping to stuff envelopes, they come across a letter to the Playboy Foundation (and it really seems to exist), which perks him right up. Suddenly he's keen on helping, so he submits a letter in Cheryl's name, as the prize is a night at the Playboy Mansion.
When Dana hires Jim to redo her office, she gets more than she bargained for, in more ways than one - Jim not only works on updating Dana's office, but when her boss, Mr. Bingham (Patrick Cassidy), comes in and tells her off, he works him over as well. Unfortunately, that doesn't go over so well. I guess he just doesn't like being told off by a construction worker that he doesn't even know.

It turns out that taking the Fast Forward during the Kuwait City, Kuwait leg last week left David and Mary with a large lead - some three hours ahead of even the second-place team. But as has happened time and time again in this running of the race, the gap closed almost immediately with another international flight, this time to the island nation of Mauritius, off the coast of Africa.
Confederate Salami Rocket. The original Confederate Rocket segment (from the Confederate Rocket episode) has already been retested once - in the Myths Reopened episode. But in what I think is a first, the retest itself generated enough questions, that the retest is going to be retested.
The question raised is whether or not the salami actually ignited. Most people wrote in to suggest that the pressure of the nitrous oxide alone, without anything added by the salami, could have lifted the rocket to a height of twenty feet. So in an effort to test this, Adam and Jamie rig up a test bed in a shipping container and hook it all to a force gauge to see what happens. The end result is that the nox could very likely have done just that, so it's back to the drawing board.
Despite the title, Dana doesn't literally date Jim. She does, however, date Hank (James Michael McCauley), who looks a bit like Jim, dresses like Jim, and most certainly acts like Jim. So it's a pretty apt comparison. The only problem for Dana is that she can't see it, while everyone else can. Actually, that's not the only problem, though it is the first problem.
When Gracie gets in trouble for not listening, Cheryl puts her foot down and says that she can't go out trick-or-treating. There is just one problem - Jim loves to go trick-or-treating and doesn't want to do that to her. So when Cheryl takes the other kids out, Jim sneaks out with Gracie, hoping to get back in before Cheryl comes home. He doesn't make it, which gets him in trouble. To make matters worse, then Gracie starts talking back to him.
