According to Jim Recap: Deal with the Devlins

Cheryl has made a new friend, Cindy, who takes the kids for the afternoon and brings them home, which gives her time to make dinner. This is at first a surprise for Jim and Andy, who have pizza and ribs, but then they realize that they get pizza, ribs and lasagna, so it's okay. Until they meet Cindy (Cynthia Stevenson).

Then they quickly realize that they can't stand her. She's just too nice. Until they meet her husband Tim (Tim Bagley). He is even worse. But it turns out that he has a secret that makes it okay. He owns a hot tub store, and he extends an 80% discount to some of his friends, so that just might make things worthwhile. Or at least worth suffering through for a short time.

But when the hot tub is delivered and Jim and Cheryl want to enjoy it, it seems that it comes with the Devlins, too. That might make it not such a great deal. But it's still a hot tub.

When the Devlins show up wanting to stay for a week while their place is fumigated, it's just too much. No one should be subjected to that kind of torture. So the plan is to split them off into separate rooms and tackle the problem one at a time. And that works until Jim finds out that they also have four season tickets to Soldier Field. On the 50-yard line. So he says that they can handle any favor (he doesn't know what it is).

At that point, Cheryl says that she's going to stay with Dana. Classic.
