There is something wrong with Jim. Okay, there are probably a number of things wrong with Jim. But Cheryl has realized that there is something new wrong with Jim, and she just doesn’t know what it is, and she can’t get Jim to tell her. So she invites her friend over that just happens to be a therapist, and cons her into analyzing Jim while he’s watching the game.
Unfortunately, doing anything “while Jim is watching the game” is next to impossible, so she just breaks down and tells him that she is a therapist and what she is up to, so they get into a big fight about how women want to talk too much and how men don’t talk enough, and with that, Cheryl promptly shuts up.
For the next few days, she doesn’t talk at all. And at first, Jim cruises. It’s like heaven. But then he really starts to go into withdrawals. It’s killing him. Finally he breaks down and admits that he needs to talk to Cheryl, but by then, she has to know what it is that he won’t tell her, and he admits that it’s so tiny that he just ignores it and it goes away.
He just can’t stand that she cuts her peach into little pieces before eating it, and even worse, she pokes the little pieces with all these toothpicks and eats them one-by-one. She can’t understand, but explains that she can’t bite into it and have all those peach juices dripping down her face. But she thanks him for sharing. And then she tries to bite into a peach and it just about kills her. Jim wipes her face. Isn’t that sweet?
