The Class Recap: The Class Goes to a Bar

Actually, the class goes to a couple of bars. The first bar is probably the one in the title, and that has Duncan getting the band back together. He invites Richie, and when Nicole comes in to see what's happening (Richie had a small incident with the plumbing in the wall that will never be fixed), she is invited as well. Unfortunately it seems that she has a black tie event that night in support of her husband, but she really wants to go. Trouble seems to be brewing.

But perhaps not as much as it is with Ethan and Kat. They are having drinks, and when Ethan gets up for a refill, Kat hijacks someone else's blind date. When he returns, Kat is headed off to become Sue. So when Sue actually arrives, he has to assume the role of Dan, who is now with Kat, who is playing Sue.

Ethan, unfortunately, doesn't really get the whole idea of playing with other people, so he actually makes a date with Sue for the next night, while Kate drops Dan like a hot potato. Ethan gets his chance, however, when Sue tells him she lied - she has a son and gives Ethan the out that he needs, but he doesn't take it. He just keeps on rolling. We'll have to see if this continues to play out or if it was just a one-time thing.

Back in the other bar, the trouble heats up when Nicole shows up for the band's show, it gets worse when Duncan sings her a song that he wrote for her, it doesn't get any better when he confesses that he still feels that way and things get even worse when Richie brings Lina - and to wrap things up in a neat bundle, Fern asks Richie who Lina is when he gets home. Looks like things are really heating up indeed.
