Jim promised Dana a month ago that he’d work on the spare bedroom at her house, and moreover that it would be done in two weeks. When she goes over to ask when he’ll be finished, she get more than she bargains for.
The problem is that Jim comes over to work on it – well, as soon as he finds some clean pants he does – but when he does, she’s still in bed, and he overhears her having a dream. To make matters worse, it’s a special dream, and the focus of the dream isn’t Ryan, it’s Jim.
Naturally, Jim isn’t going to take this one lying down. Since Dana mentioned him taking her to the gazebo and having his way with her, that’s what he continues to bring up to her. Over and over and over. When Cheryl hears about it, Dana makes her promise to not tell Ryan – but Ryan overhears Dana make Cheryl promise, and that blows the whole thing out of the water.
Ryan, being a tad more understanding than Jim, tries to talk it over with Dana and figure out just what is causing these dreams. They determine that Dana doesn’t want Jim, exactly, but she does want Jim’s essence – but not the physical one. The one that he displays as a father, as she really does think that he’s a good dad. When she tells him that, she finally gets some good sleep.
