According to Jim Recap: Sex Ed Fred

When Ruby comes home from school needing permission from her parents to view a sex ed video, it’s a sure sign that she’s growing up. But what it really means is that the parents have to watch the video first, to make sure that they are okay with what is being presented to their kids. So Cheryl convinces Jim to go see it, and despite the fact that there are no snacks in the classroom, he agrees to watch. Until he sees what is on the screen. Then he grabs the tape and runs.

It turns out that this tape involves the story of a young boy named Jim and his first (and only) acting job. Apparently he was told that it was for a small part in a horror movie, and when he saw the girl, he was to look scared and then look down – but the voiceover was not for a horror movie. It was to make it look like he had something going on in his pants.

Yes, the star of the movie is a young Jim, and he doesn’t want his daughter being scarred by the thought of her dad in a sex ed video. Even if his name is Fred in the movie. Luckily Andy is there to propose a solution. He can use his editing software to put his head on Jim’s body (I’m not sure that this is a better solution, but whatever) and make things work out. Jim agrees, and the next day the parents try again.

The only problem here is that Andy forgot to erase the audio coming out of his mouth, and the audio in question came from his own childhood acting experience, which had to do with a cake commercial, so instead of a shy boy coming to terms with puberty, it was an excited boy looking wildly on a young girl. The other parents are outraged, and the video is axed. Problem solved.
