The Class Recap: The Class Runs Into a Convenience Store

Richie, who is still stinging from the fact that Lina doesn't want to be with him, has run into a convenience store. Not run into as in gone into the store to pick something up, but run into as in actually driven his car into the front window. He didn't do it on purpose, but now he's there, and he has decided that it may just be better if he doesn't get out. It's a safe place.

You may be asking how he got there in the first place. It's not something that people just do on an everyday basis, after all, so that's a fair question. It turns out that there was this bee in the car, and Richie's car isn't in the best shape. So the window doesn't work. As he tried to kill the bee, he lost control, and he just ended up in the window of the convenience store.

Now Holly is there reporting on the wreck, and when she finds out that there is a man who doesn't want to leave - and he is behaving somewhat strangely (the bee is still in the car, after all) - she thinks she may have a scoop on her hands. When she is talking to Kyle on the phone, and Kyle sees on the television that it's Richie, and mentions to Holly that she should know who it is too, she just has to get his number.

What follows is a hilarious bit while Holly talks to Kyle, who talks to Ethan, who talks to Kat (and Lina), to try and get Richie's cell phone number. When that doesn't work, Ethan instead calls Richie's mom, but she doesn't know the number, so she suggest that Ethan call Duncan, because the number is "speed dial 2", which won't work on Ethan's phone. So Ethan calls Duncan, and Duncan has the number. Then Duncan and Nicole watch too.

Once Holly gets Richie on the phone, Kyle, Ethan, Duncan and Nicole all head down to the convenience store to see if they can get in on any of the action, and they try and talk Richie out of the car (and kill the bee).

In the end, Richie doesn't want to come out of the car because he has already broken up with Fern, and now Lina won't have him either. So he'll just stay in the car. And no one can kill the bee. Finally Lina hears what Richie says on the cell phone that Holly has held up, and so she and Kat show up at the convenience store, and that's what gets Richie out - and Holly does appear to kill the bee.
