The Class Recap: The Class Hits It
Lina and Nicole decide to have lunch together, and while they are out, Nicole finds out that Lina and Richie haven't yet consummated their relationship. Wanting to pry, but not wanting to pry, she discovers that Lina is starting to wonder why this is - she wants to, but she's afraid that perhaps something is wrong. So Nicole does what most women would do. She asks Duncan to find out why Richie isn't hitting it.
Richie, in turn, is a bit surprised, since he's eating a tuna sandwich prepared by Duncan's mom (which is apparently quite good), but since Duncan is his only real friend, he confides in him, and tells him that mostly it's because Fern would regularly tell him how bad he was at it. He's afraid that if he is so bad, perhaps he will scare Lina away. Being the good friend that he is, Duncan says that since Fern never said he did anything right, maybe it was just her, and he ought to go for it.
Unfortunately, Nicole doesn't agree, and that night while Richie is proceeding with his plans, Nicole asks Duncan to try to stall things. Duncan's mom agrees, since she has a tendency to listen in on calls. It seems that she had a similar problem once - something that Duncan doesn't want to hear about - but nonetheless, Duncan agrees to try, so he calls Richie. In the end, Duncan (and his mom, who's in on that call, too) get through, but Richie ends up having to tell Lina, and it all works out okay.
On the other side of town, Kat has found herself a new love. At least, she has been stalking a new love, in the form of taking tons of pictures of him. And it seems that his child is a patient of Ethan, so Ethan sets them up. But then the guy doesn't call back, and Kat doesn't want to be the girl waiting by the phone, so she gives her phone to Ethan, so he gets to be That Girl. Hilarity ensues.
Oh, and Kyle seems to be hanging out with Ethan a lot. No sign of Aaron, and no Holly in this episode either. Maybe Fern got her.
