My Name is Earl Recap: Kept a Guy Locked in a Truck
When Earl keeps getting stuck places, he finally figures out that karma is giving him a message: He has to help Josh, the guy who he locked in a truck. But when he goes to find Josh, he finds that Josh is dead. It seems that he had one of those beds that you pull down from the wall, and when a big truck goes by, sometimes they would pop back up into the wall. Josh didn't make it.
Earl is haunted by Josh, and so he has to do something for him - but what? He decides to give him a proper funeral, so that perhaps someone will remember him. But no one appears to know Josh. Instead, Earl invites people that he knows. It's a disaster. People come, but it's for the free food and an excuse for a party. If anything, it's worse than before. But at least Earl gets some help, because then Joy starts having nightmares about Josh, too.
They decide to clean out Josh's apartment, and that's when they hit the mother lode. Earl stumbles and knocks the mouse of Josh's computer, and all of a sudden windows start opening on the monitor, with people wanting to know where Josh has been. It seems that Josh had quite the active online life, even if no one knew him in the real world.
Earl decides to have another funeral, and this time there are loads of people there - all of those who Earl stayed up all night answering online. I guess that means he can cross of someone else on his list. Randy and Catalina get a nice apartment out of the deal too, but not before the landlord fixes the problem with the bed.
