The Class Recap: The Class Eats Moroccan Chicken
Nicole and Yonk are on a diet. It seems that Yonk's cholesterol is a bit higher than might be normal. In fact, it's nearly 400! Duncan suggests that perhaps that isn't too high. For a couple. It gets worse when Yonk has Jerry Rice over for a game of pool and Yonk manages to win. Normally that means that Jerry would have to buy steak, but since Yonk is on a diet, he has to eat fish, and he isn't happy about it.
Meanwhile, everyone else is headed over to see Lina, who is preparing dinner to celebrate the removal of her casts. Unfortunately, that's about the only thing to celebrate, because her dinner choice - the Moroccan chicken in the episode's title - is nasty. In fact, Richie suspects initially that it may contain fish it smells so bad, but in fact it contains no fish. It just really is that bad.
The dinner itself holds a few interesting tidbits for the show. Holly and Perry are nowhere to be seen, but that's fairly well expected at this point. It seems apparent that they are gone (there are in fact rumors that Lucy Punch has been entirely written out of the show). What is more interesting is that Kyle, who has been sitting around with Ethan and playing video games, has no date, so it would seem that Aaron is gone too, though there is no confirmation of that.
Whatever the case, it is certainly true that no one at the dinner party actually partakes of dinner. Nicole goes so far as to say that since the dish contains cream, she can't eat it because of her "special diet".
Kat brings her new "boyfriend", Benjamin, and things are going so well that later that night, as they discuss how that tasted worse than anything he has ever actually had while in Morocco, he invites her to come along when he has to play there in a few months. Scared silly, she goes to see Ethan to talk about it, and decides she can handle it.
That mostly wraps up this episode, except for one small problem. Kat invites Benjamin over to her place. When she does, he sees the massive stack of pictures she took of him while she was stalking him, and hoping to meet up with him. It turns out that this relationship may not work after all. Uh-oh.
