Dirt Recap: Come Together
Now that Lucy and Holt have decided to cross that invisible line that previously separated their relationship, they decided to cross it again. And again. But when Lucy mentions that Julia is having some drug problems, Holt doesn't like where things are going, and suspects that she is interested for business reasons.
Keeping with the doctor theme, Holt decides to have his worm problem checked out, and gets some medication that should handle it. Then he goes to see Julia, who wants to go to work with Holt. Unfortunately, it's the day of a big sex scene, and she doesn't handle it well, so she leaves and goes to see Garbo, her drug dealer.
Garbo isn't alone, however. She has a guy there, and what ensues can only be described as a drug-fueled orgy. There to capture the aftermath is one Don Conkey, who gets Julia on film, emerging in a very sad state from the mansion. It's not a pretty site. These pictures convince Holt that something needs to be done.
Lucy gives Holt the information for a rehab clinic that's very private - so much so that he's never even heard of it. Guaranteed results and guaranteed discretion. What she doesn't say is that good old Don will be hiding out in the bushes to get pictures of the whole event (which he does).
Meanwhile, Brent makes a move on Willa after Willa has to deal with the aftermath of the cheerleader story from The Secret Lives of Altar Girls. When Willa wants to get the byline all to herself, Chuck tells her to go for it. But when the girl finds herself faced with jail time, she recants her confession, and tells her that she was forced into it. So Chuck tells her that the medical report shows that the girl was the one that did it. Willa was played. And that's when Brent makes his move.
Speaking of Don, a girl at the coffee shop notices him writing on his pictures, and she thinks that he is a genius. Unfortunately he doesn't know if she is real or not. So he goes to see the only person he can trust - Lucy. While Lucy confirms that she is indeed real, Lucy doesn't like her much, to say the least.
Leo is confronted by Jack Dawson's wife, and later, the magazine is threatened with a massive lawsuit. In her inimitable style, Lucy threatens them with the process of discovery, which will expose all of Jack's dalliances, and before long, Jack is on television, saying how he will no longer respond to this sort of accusation. On the set, his wife leaves him. But the magazine seems safe.
