The Class Recap: The Class Springs a Leak

As Duncan and Richie prepare to wrap up their project remodeling the house of Yonk and Nicole, it seems that Nicole can't handle the fact that she won't see Duncan every day. So she does what any normal woman would do. She loosens a few things so that it starts to leak. Badly. That means that Duncan will have to come back and fix it.

Meanwhile, Yonk is featured in a newspaper interview, but when he is answering questions, he keeps referring to Nicole by his ex-wife's name. It gets so bad that the published interview doesn't even contain Nicole's name in it. To make matters worse, Nicole can't seem to convince Yonk that there is even a problem. He just laughs and can't see why she is upset.

Over on the sane side of town (and I use that term loosely), Ethan had decided that he'll break up with Palmer. But he hasn't told Palmer yet. Instead, he decided to tell Kyle. So when Kyle sees Palmer at the store, he expresses his sympathy. Only Palmer doesn't know why he's being sympathetic. Then he has to tell her. That's when Ethan really has to end it. Except now he isn't sure that he wants to end it.

When Ethan and Palmer talk about it, Ethan really isn't sure that he wants to get out of the relationship. But by the time they've finished with their talk, Palmer has decided that she wants to end it. So by the time Kyle comes over, Ethan is really unhappy. Luckily, he perks right up when he finds out that both Palmer and Kyle think that he should totally be with Kat.

Unfortunately - for Ethan - when he goes to see Kat, she's in a bit of a rush, so he can't tell her right away. And when he gets the chance to tell he what he's been thinking, someone comes to the door. It's Benjamin, who came home from his trip early just to see her. Looks like Ethan's going to be flying solo for a while.
