The Class Recap: The Class Rides a Bull

Nicole has decided that she is going to leave Yonk. But she hasn't quite come to terms with the actual leaving part just yet, so she thinks that it will be easier if she can get everything packed up and moved before he gets home from his trip. But when he comes home early, it throws a wrench into those plans.

It gets worse when he wants to take Duncan and Richie out to eat lunch, since they are getting ready to pack up and leave forever. Yonk is just trying to be a nice guy, and Nicole sees it as an opportunity to get him out of the house, but Duncan isn't so sure he can keep the secret that Nicole is getting ready to leave him if they are all sitting down at lunch. Eventually he manages to get a clue that Nicole won't be there - she's going to be at home packing, and he agrees to distract Yonk so Nicole can pack.

The only problem is that it takes Nicole a really long time to pack, and so she's still going, even after they've eaten their monstrous steaks. What do you do to pass the time after you've stuffed yourself full of meat? Luckily, Duncan doesn't have to worry about that right away, because they manage to talk for a little while. And in the meantime, Lina comes over to help Nicole pack.

Well, Lina didn't really come over for that reason, but when she finds out, she offers to help. Only she isn't much help, because she keeps trying on clothes that she likes, so it actually takes longer with Lina there than it did without her. But she's trying.

Meanwhile, Ethan is trying to come to terms with the fact that Kat is really hung up on Benjamin. So when Benjamin brings his kid in for a check-up (you do remember that Ethan's a doctor, don't you?), and the kid starts talking about "daddy's girlfriend", Ethan starts asking questions. Only her name isn't Kat. That could be bad. Or it could be good. It all depends on how you look at it.

Eventually, Ethan decides that he will tell Kat, who doesn't want to hear about it, because she just made a huge leap of faith: She left her toothbrush at Benjamin's. Still, she has to know, so she confronts him. And it turns out that he does, indeed have another girlfriend. At least one. So it seems like that's over. But Ethan and Kat still don't hook up. I can understand that. No need to ruin the chemistry. But how long can they let it go on?

At the steak house, Duncan is running out of time, but luckily for him, Richie has figured out what is happening. It seems that he was talking to Lina, and Lina mentioned that she was helping Nicole pack, and, well, Richie figured it out eventually. So now he has a secret, and he really sucks at keeping secrets. But he does have an idea. He suggests riding the bull. Because it is his idea, he goes first. And he lasts about a second. Maybe not even that long.

The next thing we see is Yonk riding the bull, getting off to a standing ovation, and collapsing. Looks like all that meat wasn't good for him. While this seems like it should have been a season-ending episode, it wasn't. There's at least one more this season, so hopefully we'll get to see what happens.
