According to Jim Recap: Separate Ways

Cheryl invites Dana to stay in the house so that it's easier for her to help with the new baby, and when Jim can't get any sleep, Cheryl suggests that maybe he should spend the night with Andy, since it's just across the street.

Jericho Recap: Heart of Winter

While Black Jack had some pretty interesting action (even if it was of the prime-time network variety, which means that Dale survived), this episode is almost the exact opposite. Yet Jake is still the focus. How does that work?

In any case, after the hair-raising adventure at the Flea Market from Hell, Jake, Stanley and Mimi go hunting. I don't care how bad Stanley thinks he needs to get a little action, bringing Mimi along was not a good idea. It's probably not a good idea to hunt radioactive wildlife either, but I digress. In the process, they are run off the road by everyone's favorite bad guys, Ravenwood. Or people who drive a truck that looks a lot like them.

Yet somehow, the star of the show (that would be Jake) survives. He's just stuck under the front end. So Stanley stays with Jake to keep him warm - shades of Brokeback Mountain, anyone? - and Mimi goes off to get help. Really. She who cannot follow directions and is from nowhere near Jericho has to find her way back to town and then get people to find their way back to Jake.
