Dirt Recap: Pap Smeared
Willa, presumably after the stress endured during The Sexxx Issue, is giving Brent the cold shoulder. And every other body part. She does get him to shave his ridiculous facial hair, however. I hope it's worth it, because it doesn't look like he's going to get anywhere.
Don has been charged with getting a picture of a cheating celebrity, but the only problem is a competing photographer who is now employing gang-bangers, which is dangerous to Don's health. And this from the guy who once cut off his own finger for a shot.
As if to add to the things on his mind, Don has a new apprentice. Marqui Jackson (Lukas Haas) showed up one day wanting to be like him, so he's trying to show him the ropes. But mostly it's just answering questions, because the kid is annoying.
Julia seems to have recovered from her drug addiction, but now she has a new problem - she's cutting herself. That's probably not healthy. No wonder Holt is obsessed with Lucy (not that that is any better).
Don and Marqui go to get the shot of the cheating celebrity, and it ends up being a bad time for Marqui - he gets beat up, urinated on and shocked by a car battery. He even ends up in the hospital. But Don gets the shot. And Marqui becomes the next vision seen by Don. I'm not sure if that's good or bad.
To end the episode, Lucy's stalker sends images of her half-dressed body around the DirtNow offices, stepping things up a bit. I hope this comes to a head soon, because frankly it's getting a little boring.
