Heroes Recap: Chapter Nineteen: .07%
At Primatech Paper, the cells are full. HRG is in one, communicating telepathically to Parkman in the next. You would think they would have figured out a way to stop this - surely they could use lead or something. That would stop Superman's X-Ray vision, couldn't it stop Parkman? And speaking of X-Ray vision, why doesn't anyone have it? That would be cool.
In another cell, in another part of the building, Radioactive Man Ted waits to be rescued, and sure enough, before long, Parkman comes to get him. On the advice of HRG, Parkman tells Ted to burn bright, not hot. After trying a couple of time, he gets it, which creates an electro-magnetic pulse, and that knocks out the security system. They are free.
In Las Vegas, Linderman discusses are with Nathan, and specifically they talk about the painting that shows New York in an inferno. I think it's interesting, because if it is true, then Isaac can paint the future. If they stop it, then it doesn't happen, then Isaac can't paint the future. That's the problem in dealing with time - you have to work in the wrinkles that might disrupt the flow, and I don't think that they have done so.
Anyway, after Nathan, Linderman asks Jessica to let him talk to Micah. He wans him to come to New York to help him fix the election for Nathan. He doesn't really say that, of course, but you know that's what they are planning.
Speaking of New York, the fight of the century is on. After discovering Mohinder and Sylar, Peter now has to fight Sylar, and it's a good thing that he can pick up on Sylar's power, because anything Sylar can do, he can do - he just has to figure it out.
First, Peter heals the cut on his forehead, then he turns invisible. But Sylar is one step ahead. He knows that Peter is still there, so he sends broken glass flying everywhere, which will still hit him, invisible or not. This effectively kills Peter. No idea why it didn't hit Mohinder, but Mohinder takes out Sylar with the easel. And breaks the laptop to keep Sylar from getting it. Maybe Mohinder has a photographic memory, so he didn't need it. I still think he has a power.
Mohinder then takes Peter to the Petrelli mansion, and there Peter's mom gets all upset that her son is dead. Claire wants to see Peter too, but when she does, she notices that he's got a chunk of glass lodged in his head, and when she removes it, presto! Peter comes back to life. That was easy.
Across town, Isaac is trying to come to terms with killing Simone when Sylar comes in. And that's about all there is to it. Sylar opens up Isaac's head and promptly picks up his new ability - he starts painting.
